This notice explains how FreightSpark handles personal information when you visit this public website or request a demo. It does not describe how customer operational data is handled in FreightSpark ONE; that is covered by the relevant customer agreement and data-processing terms.
Who is responsible
Freight Labs B.V. operates FreightSpark and is the controller for the personal information covered by this notice. Our Chamber of Commerce number is 94930791. We are based in the Netherlands. You can contact us at hello@freightspark.io.
What we collect
When you request a demo, we collect the name, company, and work email address you provide. You may also provide a phone number and a message. Our hosting and security infrastructure processes ordinary technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and server logs.
Why we use it and our legal bases
We use demo-request information to answer your enquiry, arrange a demo, and continue the directly related business conversation. We do this to take steps at your request before entering into a possible agreement, where that legal basis applies. Otherwise, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries about ONE. We use technical information to deliver, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the website based on our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure website. We may also process information when necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Your name, company, and work email are required so that we can identify and respond to your request. If you do not provide them, we cannot arrange the demo through the form. Your phone number and message are optional.
Who receives the information
People at FreightSpark who handle the enquiry can access the information you submit. We also use service providers that process information on our behalf: Vercel hosts and protects the website, Resend delivers the demo-request email, and our business email provider receives and stores the resulting correspondence. Umami Software provides our cookieless website analytics using the European data region. Although we select European service regions where available, these providers may process limited website and demo-request information in the United States under recognised EU data-transfer safeguards. We may disclose information to advisers, authorities, or other parties when required by law or reasonably needed to protect legal rights. We do not sell your personal information or share form contents for third-party advertising.
Analytics and cookies
This website uses a cookieless Umami analytics configuration to understand which pages are used and whether important website actions are completed. We rely on our legitimate interest in improving the public website. Search parameters and URL fragments are excluded. Demo-form values, names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, and messages are not sent to analytics. We do not use Umami's user-identification or session-replay features. The analytics and hosting infrastructure may still process ordinary technical request data to deliver and protect their services.
How long we keep information
We keep demo requests and related correspondence while the enquiry is active and afterwards only for as long as reasonably needed for relevant business records and follow-up. When deciding how long to retain it, we consider the last meaningful contact, whether a customer relationship develops, applicable legal obligations, and the time in which a claim could be made. If analytics is enabled, we retain its anonymised website activity for no longer than 13 months. Technical logs are retained for the shorter period needed for security, troubleshooting, and provider operations, unless a longer period is required for an incident or legal obligation. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed for these purposes.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or provide information you gave us in a portable format. If we ever rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier processing. We may need to verify your identity and may keep information where the law permits or requires us to do so.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or with the supervisory authority in your country.
Automated decisions
We do not use website or demo-request information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects for you.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when the website or our handling of personal information changes. The date above shows the latest revision.
